What is Redox-C?
Redox-C is a dietary supplement and an injection form of the active ingredient vitamin C (ascorbic acid). Vitamin C is an antioxidant which is essential for strengthening and maintaining the structure of teeth, bones and connective tissue. The most common conditions treated with an injection of vitamin C are for the treatment or prevention of scurvy and improving wound healing. Some people may also use the drug to meet high vitamin C needs such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, heavy smokers, or in patients recovering from surgery.
How is Redox-C used?
Redox-C should be injected intramuscularly as directed by a doctor. Contact a doctor for the correct dose and duration of treatment, as this will depend on the patient's condition and reaction to the medication. There is a limit on how much vitamin C can be absorbed orally, injections are most effective with patients needing large doses.
