Mixtard 30 HM Penfill 100IU / ML is a box of 5 injectable cartridges of 3ml, possibility of using for refillable injector pen or with an insulin syringe as for the ulization of peptides or growth hormone.
- 1 cartridge contains 3ml, equivalent to 300 international units.
- 1ml of suspension contains 100 international units of soluble human insulin / human isophane insulin (NPH) in a ratio of 30/70 (equivalent to 3,5 mg).
- Human insulin is produced in Saccharomyces cerevisiae by recombinant DNA technology.
Excipient with known effect:
- Mixtard 30 HM Penfill contains less than 1mmol sodium (23mg) per dose; Mixtard 30 HM Penfill is essentially "sodium free".
- Mixtard 30 HM Penfill can be used between 4 to 6 weeks.
- Mixtard 30 HM Penfill is a mixed-acting insulin. Its two-phase formulation contains both rapid-acting and long-acting insulin.
Premixed insulins are generally administered once or twice a day when a rapid initial effect associated with a more prolonged effect is desired. Mixtard 30 HM Penfill begins to work within 30 minutes of injection, its maximum effect appears within 2 to 8 hours after injection, and its duration of action may be up to 24 hours.
Individual insulin requirements are generally between 0,3 and 1,0 IU / kg / day. Make sure your insulin dose is limited to between 15-45 IU. But it will greatly depend on your daily carbohydrate intake. During a diet or during a cutting period, the dosage should be reduced further.
Most bodybuilders use three insulin injections every day:
- The the first dose just happens after waking up.
